Assuming this type of reporting is in scope, the Project Manager may need to generate reports using raw data. The most commonly used tool for this is Excel® although there are many other products that are designed more specifically for this purpose. The template, actually more of an example, file shows the use of some complex formulas for generating charts to show the adoption rates of electronically distributed software. If this were distributed to the users a Pivot Table format may be better. (See case study for more details.)
